Introduce the Metal case Motor Run Capacitor

What is NON PCB 10000AFC P2 meaning on the capacitor mark?

NON-PCB intended for the pollution-free insulating oil, it can be used for the capacitor insulating paper, insulating paper layer is often used PCB.”Polychlorinated biphenyls”, polychlorinated biphenyls, a toxic substance, and so is generally not used. NON PCB, “Non” is French, the meaning is not, do not including.

AFC means automatic frequency control. Is the English abbreviation for automatic frequency control. The product described here by 10000AFC performance certification.

P2 is Safety class. When the capacitor insulation level of a particular component falls, inevitably produce exceptional heat, internal pressure increases, the capacitor shell deformation, swelling, mechanical displacement of the proof sheet (line) pull off. As the power supply components through phase explosion-proof film and capacitors, explosive power equal to disengage opening piece, explosion proof depends on a piece of design, installation location and sealing capacitors and so on.

Voltage
Select a capacitor with a voltage rating at or above the original capacitor. If you’re using a 370 volt capacitor, a 370 or 440 volt capacitor will work. The 440 volt unit will actually last longer. A capacitor will have a marked voltage indicating peak voltage acceptable – not operational voltage.

Can I use a capacitor with a higher rated voltage than the original one?
Yes. You can use a capacitor with an equal or higher rated voltage than the original, but you cannot use a capacitor with a voltage rating that is lower than the one you are replacing.

Capacitance value (uf, MFD or microfarads)
Select a capacitor with a capacitance value (given in MFD, uf or microfarad) that is equal to the original capacitor. Do not deviate from the original value as it sets the operational characteristics of the motor.

Frequency (Hz)
Select a capacitor with the Hz rating of the original. Nearly all replacement capacitors will be labeled 50/60.

Terminal style
Nearly every capacitor will use a ΒΌ” flag style push on connector. The next question is, “How many terminals per terminal post are needed for the application motor?” Most start capacitors have 2 terminals per post, and most run capacitors will have either 3 or 4 terminals per post. Verify that your selected capacitor has at least the number of connection terminals per connection post as the original one.

Case Shape
Nearly all start capacitors have a round case. Round run capacitors are by far the most common, but many motors still use oval designs. Electrically speaking, there is no difference; fit is the only question here. If space in the mounting box is not limited, the case style does not matter.

Overall Size
Just like case shape, overall size makes no difference electrically. Select a capacitor that will fit within the space provided.
